Free glass flameworking demonstrations during Art-A-Whirl® 2024!

Saturday May 18 - Sunday May 19th, 2024

12:00pm-4:00pm daily

Located in the parking lot of the California Building in Northeast Minneapolis at 2205 California St NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418.

Foci Minnesota Center for Glass Arts will be doing live flameworking demonstrations at the California Building during Art-A-Whirl! Join us to witness the magic of glass art in motion and learn more about the work we do as a creative nonprofit! This is an opportunity to meet a professional glass artists and hear them speak first-hand about how they create their artwork. Free and open to the public.

About Art-A-Whirl

Art-A-Whirl is a self-directed open studio tour throughout all of Northeast Minneapolis, with over 1,200 artists participating at 80+ sites over the course of three days. In addition to interacting directly with artists and their work, visitors can experience art demos, activities, performances, and music. Northeast Minneapolis is also home to dozens of restaurants and breweries.
